We are pleased to present you the press release of 15 August 2014:

In the current economic context, difficult and marked by unpredictability, cost reductions and production flexibility are an increasingly difficult task if innovation and funding programs are not used. Today, the notion of “sustainable development”, in addition to the economic component, also includes social and environmental responsibilities.
As defined by the World Commission on Environment and Development, in the report “Our Common Future”, sustainable development “aims to meet the needs of the present without compromising the possibilities of future generations to meet their own needs”, and is a responsibility of every citizen and of each organization.
Concerned about reconciling economic and social progress with maintaining natural balance, Insta Electric S.A. Mr. Daniel Hauri, Chairman of his Board of Directors, announces the launch of the project “Solar Energy Valorisation – A Greener Business Model”, funded by Norway Grants through the “Green Industry Innovation Program”, within the financial mechanism 2009-2014.
Insta Electric S.A. Focşani is a local manufacturer with tradition in the development and development of low voltage electrical equipment. Developed product ranges include professional equipment as well as household equipment such as sockets, switches, adapters and extensions. The quality and diversity of our products make us competitive.
EEA Grants and Norwegian Grants represent the contribution of non-EU states Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reduce economic and social disparities and strengthen bilateral relations with 16 EU Member States in Central and South Europe.
The project “Exploiting Solar Energy – a Greener Business Model” includes, besides the economic and financial component, social responsibility and reduction of the impact on the environment. The implementation of this project will allow part of the energy used in the management and production processes to come from renewable energy sources, solar energy. The main economic and financial benefits of the project are the reduction of electricity costs of up to 62%, the extra income from the sale of green certificates that will reduce the company’s vulnerability to external factors and strengthen relations with business partners by promoting a model responsible business and success.
In terms of environmental impact, the implementation of the project will involve a reduction in CO2 emissions of approximately 150 Kg / year. The Social Responsibility Project component includes a series of fundamental ethical guidelines aimed at locally raising the awareness of environmental issues and raising public awareness of the benefits of energy efficiency and reduction.
From a technical point of view, the project envisages the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof of the plant, amounting to an area of 3800 m2, with an installed capacity of 0.441 MW, which will generate a production of approximately 455 MWh / year, covering 100% of the company’s electricity.
Rehabilitation of both the roof and the production halls will be carried out in order to achieve better hydro and thermal insulation, thus not only providing a further reduction in heating costs and fossil fuel consumption, but also a more friendly and comfortable work environment for our employees.
The deadline for implementing the project and putting the photovoltaic system into use is November 2015.
Insta Electric, with the support and contribution of Norway Grants, therefore proposes to its collaborators and customers a business model and a range of greener and more economical products, built in an innovative way around the management concept of greening production processes, promoting a new “green” range of electrical appliance equipment developed, produced and distributed in Romania.
